Harley Davidson is teaming up with Marvel Entertainment to turn online visitors into super heroes featured in a future Avengers comic.

Through July 1, 2012, visitors to the Harley-Davison website can enter the Assemble Your Freedom contest by creating a profile with a super hero name and description, and then selecting a super hero bike model and spec it out (using the H-D1 Bike Builder).

“The Assemble Your Freedom contest gives anyone who believes in things like freedom and independence the chance to express their passion and spirit for Harley-Davidson and Avengers in a truly unique way,” said Dino Bernacchi, Harley-Davidson Marketing Communication Director. “They’ll be able to ride into an Avengers mission and be immortalized in this special edition digital comic.”

The Assemble Your Freedom contest will select five winners (based on various factors) with prizes that include the motorcycle they created and being immortalized with a personal likeness and motorcycle drawn into a custom Avengers comic book.

The recently launched Harley-Davidson Softail Slim motorcycle has a role in the Avengers film due for release May 4, 2012.

BS contest ! Only OPEN to US citizens.
Harley Davidson motorcycles are as prominent, sold and ridden in Canada as USA.
So why arent we eligible for the contest ?????

  2. Joe Duarte says:

@ Manny: Probably due to tax and lottery laws and such – the same reason some Canadian contests aren’t open to Quebec residents.
