You can look at, but you can’t buy, Kia’s Toronto FC Special Edition Optima Turbo SX, which makes its debut at the 2012 Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto.

The Special Edition model is an extension of the partnership between the automaker and the soccer club. Kia has been the official sponsor of Toronto FC since 2007, and it also sponsors the other two Canadian Major League Soccer (MLS) teams, the Vancouver Whitecaps and Montreal Impact.

Changes beyond the production Optima include matte black paint, a gloss black hood, roof and trunk, gloss red accents along the windows, front grille, front fender, fog lights and trunk line and TFC badge on the grille.

Several Toronto FC logos adorn the interior, on the leather seats, head rests, floor mats, centre armrest, and gear shifter. The inside of the vehicle is also treated to red stitching and piping throughout.

Also added to the Toronto FC Special Edition Optima is 18-inch wheel rims and tires, as well as Toronto FC logos on the wheel centre caps, brake caliper covers and engine cover. A stock Infinity sound system is included.

Besides its appearance at the Toronto auto show, the special edition Optima will be present at select 2012 Toronto FC home games, as well as at promotional events and a variety of venues around the Greater Toronto Area.
