The Guardian has compiled the list of the Top 100 bestselling books in the UK. There is some controversy over whether Fifty Shades of Grey is the bestselling novel. Here’s a sneak peak at the Top 10. (The whole list)

1.Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown (5,094,805)
2. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling (4,475,152)
3. Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone by J.K. Rowling (4,200,654)
4. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling (4,179,479)
5. Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James (3,758,936)
6. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling (3,583,215)
7. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling (3,484,047)
8. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling (3,377,906)
9. Angels and Demons by Dan Brown (3,193,946)
10. Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince by J.K. Rowling (2,950,264)

Hmmm, only three different authors in the Top 10. And not 10 really different books. They are all part of a series.
