From The LFP back in the day: The diners are enjoying lunch at Change of Pace on Valentine’s Day, 1980, and the canopy & entrance are seen in a Rick Eglinton photograph from Oct. 16, 1981.
Who remembers the old Change of Pace at 355A Talbot St. upstairs? Who can tell me what is there now?
My guess is the Nite Owl (at 353 is one door south) & the Early Bird — which JBNBlog keeps hearing mouthwatering words (worms?) about — may be downstairs from Change of Pace.
Is it just me or do the Valentine’s Day diners — the males for sure — look a bit tortured & bearded in their sincerity? Maybe it’s just me.
