JBNBlog extends warm congratulations to London history ace Maya Hirschman for her new posting at the Secrets of Radar Museum . . . thanks for all your help in recent years at Museum London & congrats on all you & your colleagues did there.

Here’s an e-mail from Maya on what’s up:

As you may have heard, I am leaving my position at Museum London.  My last day will be August 22, 2012.  I am leaving in order to take the reins at a small-but-mighty London museum called the Secrets of Radar Museum, which if you haven’t heard of it before now, I expect you’ll be hearing of it in the future.  It’s going to be a big change full of new and exciting challenges.  My first day will be August 31st.

For those of you with whom I am working on Museum London projects, I am hopeful that there will be a bit of flexibility in order to allow us to continue to work together.  Please don’t hesitate to contact me and we can touch base.

It has been a distinct pleasure working with you, answering your questions, providing advice, and examining your treasures.  I am leaving Museum London with a record of well-received, imaginative history exhibitions and a richer, more diverse permanent collection.

All the best,

Maya Hirschman
