NEW YORK, NY – DECEMBER 18: Musician Leonard Cohen performs at Madison Square Garden on December 18, 2012 in New York City. Mike Lawrie/Getty Images/AFP (This previous engagement explains why Leonard Cohen was unavailable for JBNBlog’s 60th birthday party the same night).
Good friend to JBNBlog Joe Chertkow, former Londoner and ace lawyer, does a terrific Leonard Cohen impersonation/tribute . . . now Joe has come up with plans for a spoof album A Very Leonard Christmas: First We Take The North Pole, Then Maybe We Take Manhattan.
Joe’s proposed songlist follows & JBNBlog can testify to his Cohenesque baritone & deadpan wit . . hand-on-heart, just like Leonard.
All the project lacks is a Leonard-Santa cover. So send us your images & we will follow through . . . we expect the project/reject to be ready by Xmas 2013 or the next Leonard tour.
This is entirely a fan project . . . not supported in any way by anybody other than two old pals who had a loud lunch at Prince Al’s.
