Just finished this week’s It’s On video with ace colleague Morris Lamont . . . four aces to play: the great singer-songwriter Andy White (he has a song about looking for James Joyce’s grave & sorta finding it in Switzerland) at the London Music Club, Amanda Stott making it jump at the Western Fair, Irish traditional superstars FullSet on Sunday at Aeolian via Sunfest . . . . & London drum major Sandy MacKay (pronounced Muh-Kaye it turns out) starting the 2012-2013 Jazz for the People season at LPL’s Wolf. Good stuff. Video soonest.
