As expected, people were lined up way ahead of time and literally camped out overnight to ensure that they would become the proud owners of the “new” iPad the day of its release. Edmontonian John Winslow was no exception, arriving just after noon yesterday at the Apple Store at Southgate Centre.
Visit your local Apple Store and you’ll find a subtle but interesting change and one designed to improves a customer’s buying experience. No, it’s not any major store renovations or a structural overhaul, but rather a more interactive way to serve up product information and pricing of Apple’s product offerings. Say goodbye to paper price lists and say hello to Apple Smart Signs.
