The first thing I noticed about the Xperia Arc when I pulled it out of the package was how the phone didn’t seem to weigh anything at all. For a second I actually thought I was merely sent the shell of a cellphone, with no hardware inside it. Even when I put the battery in the phone, it weighed a scant 117 g.

It’s the part of your computer that you touch the most, and yet probably the one that you give the least amount of thought to. Why is that? Why do our keyboards get so overlooked? Because they’re usually ugly, clunky and utilitarian, that’s why.
