The CES Innovation Design and Engineering Awards are like the Golden Globes for designers, manufacturers and developers of consumer products. Instead of the Foreign Press, the products are judged by a panel comprised of independent industrial designers, independent engineers and members of the trade press.

2010 Canada New Media Awards winners
It’s no secret that Canada is certainly a hotbed for Digital Media and the Canada New Media Awards, also called the CNMA’s, is an opportunity to showcase the best of the best. In its 10th year, the awards are part of nextMedia Toronto, a Canadian forum for the convergence of all forms of Digital Media.

When it comes to awards, let alone “Digital” or “New Media” you wouldn’t think we’d hear the words “Air Canada”. But at the recent Canadian New Media Awards gala, celebrating Canada’s digital elite on Tuesday in Toronto, Air Canada soared to the top in the category of Best Mobile application.
