While tablets have quickly become popular they are not always practical for school or work. I love using my iPad 2 for watching videos but a physical keyboard is essential when I want to be efficient in taking notes and preparing presentations. Laptops are a good alternative but they’re not as portable as tablets. A great in-between solution is a netbook like ASUS’ Eee PC.

While Fall starts this week, there’s still some good weather left. For me, nothing beats being in the great outdoors, but getting back to nature doesn’t mean having to leave technology behind. Here’s a few of my favourite gadgets that help bring the comforts of home to the campsite.

With tablets and netbooks everywhere, we are clearly in the age of portability. We’re on the go all the time so many people are now opting for lightweight and aesthetically pleasing netbooks over more bulky, traditional laptops. Many Windows users are tempted to learn a new operating system and purchase the MacBook Air. However, a great alternative is the Samsung Notebook Series 9.
