I knew I’d like Rockstar Games’ latest, the open-world Western Red Dead Redemption, but I haven’t wanted to love a game this much in awhile, and wasn’t sure how that would pan out; expectations based on the past can help or hobble a gamer’s enjoyment of something new, and Grand Theft Auto IV is just a tough act to follow.
