In what is a good, but totally logical step for Netflix, the company is rolling out an update to allow for multiple profiles on a single account. This allows the app to provide personalized suggestions to each user on what movies or TV shows to watch.
As far as I can remember, major theatrical releases first went out to the big screen and the high-priced popcorn-eating crowd. Then, they eventually were pressed to DVD and or Blu-ray disc, for purchase or rental as well as through video on demand, iTunes and then perhaps Netflix and other on-line services. However, for Gosling’s latest flick, this is not the case.
When you make an iTunes purchase like a movie or TV series, don’t you want to download it now? But sometimes it’s a big file; maybe you’re on the road, have poor bandwidth or perhaps have a promo code that expires at midnight and hate lose out. Apple has a solution for that.
If you needed an excuse to lose that old VCR, then Saturday, January 5th, 2013 just might be the day if you are in in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto or Montreal. It’ll be for a good cause and it just might win you some dough.
