Back in January, CanoeTech reported on the outcry overs Rogers Cable’s Quick Start Menu. A few weeks later, we received an update from Rogers that they planned to make changes to the menu, based on “customer feedback”.
Looks like they’ve made good on that promise but the changes seem to have fallen short of expectations. Instead of having an option to remove the menu, Rogers will only allow subscribers to change the order in which it appears on your screen – either the first or second press of the “guide” button on your remote. There is an upside though – fewer clicks to get the full program guide.
