I thought a couple of good theatre-style chairs, a 50” screen, a little Dolby Digital Surround Sound and a popcorn maker would keep most people happy watching the Olympic Gold Medal Hockey Game, until I came across this little set-up.

If your home TV screen is not big enough to watch the Olympics and you just can’t get to Vancouver to see it live, well you may be able to catch your favorite events and cheer on the Canadian athletes on a mega-screen at your local theatre.
The 2010 Winter Olympics are just a stone’s throw away. And while taking the new Skytrain for the first time from Vancouver’s International Airport to downtown and taking in the sights, it’s hard not to notice there’s not even a hint of snow to be seen. Picking up the iPhone to check out the long-term forecast, I turned to searching for any apps even remotely dedicated to the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.
Vancouver welcomes the world in only 9 more days for the 2010 Winter Olympics! Wowza, it seemed that the Games would never come, lo and behold it’s just around the corner.
From February 12th to the 28th, you’ll be glued to the TV and cheering on the Canadian athletes as they strive to win the most gold medals (Go Canada Go!).
