I had been putting off reviewing D-Link’s Wireless N300 Range Extender (DAP-1320) because I wasn’t sure what to say about it. The product allows you to share your Wireless N Internet signal across your entire home so you can easily jump online even in difficult areas, such as the basement, attic and the like. And it delivers a connection speed of up to 300 Mbps.
If you are a mobile warrior like I am with a penchant for consuming copious amounts of caffeine daily, you’ll be happy to know that one more major coffee stop is adding a free Wi-Fi hotspot to its menu. Tim Horton’s will be joining the ranks of Starbucks, Second Cup and more recently McDonalds by offering a free high-speed Internet connection to its patrons across Canada.
Ever wonder how good your Wi-Fi signal really is? You can look at the signal strength indicator on the top right-hand side of your Mac’s display on the top section of your iPad iPhone or iPod touch, but to those bars really tell the whole story? Well I’m sure you’re not surprised, there’s an application for that–at least for the Mac.
