It has become an end-of-vacation ritual for me that, every Sunday night before I come back, I go through the City Hall-related news I’ve missed.
City Hall is still in a bit of a summer slumber before meetings pick up again next week, but when it’s back to business, it will be a busy agenda, with decisions on Presto, Lansdowne Park and LRT on the horizon.
But before we jump forward, let’s look back.
Here’s what I found most interesting over the past two weeks:
City to house Barbara Ann Scott memorabilia
Ed Keeley is the new deputy chief at Ottawa police
NCC makes formal call for equestrian park, campground proposals
And my personal favourite, a “spin city” column from City Hall columnist Susan Sherring.
Anyway, glad to see I wasn’t missed around 110 Laurier Ave.
