This week’s column was prompted by the discovery that Jonah Lehrer, a staff writer for The New Yorker, made up quotes for a book he wrote on creativity. It turns out Bob Dylan never said what Lehrer quoted him as saying.
Now that’s creativity.
Lehrer joins a growing list of young journalists who have been drummed out of the industry for ethical lapses.
