Blogs Cool Blog Name to Come

Blogging excites me because it’s such a young medium. There are conventions, but no established rules. Anything goes.
My theory of blogging is that what I have to say is the least interesting thing about this blog. The best part of Cool Blog Name to Come — yes, that’s the name of the thing, for better or worse — is the comments you leave.
Readers make this blog what it is. I’m afraid it’s up to you.

BOO!
It is wrong to allow police to have unlimited powers to invade peoples privacy under the guise of catching child predators.
What is even more wrong, is that Vic Toews is basically a child predator. This guy got a 16 year old babysitter of his kid pregnant (while he was married) when he was in his 50′s. In some states that is statutory rape.
The focus has now been taken off the Bill, and the spotlight is directly focused on him. This story has made international news and now people globally are outraged.
I hope this info helps u in your blog writing.
It’s all kinds of wrong when the person championing it has admitted he hasn’t read it all.
I am not sure which is worse: Believing that he hasn’t or thinking that he is lying to save face.
I only want them to have access to the “bad guys” information, not mine. So where’s the “happy medium” here? Perhaps if your finger prints are on file, you lose your right to privacy by way of some kind of registry or something.
I haven’t really paid close attention to what it allows the gvt. to do but really, if you consider cookies, phishing, spam, viruses, etc., does anyone really think their Internet footprint is private? I’m alos paranoid enough to assume that with the Patriot Act, the Americans have been spying on most of this stuff for some time. As with most things, this is probably just the law catching up with what’s already going on.
P.S. Dan, you really ought to check out Person of Interest. As a comic fan, I think you’d like the dark avenger kind of style of the show. Probably best to watch from the begining though.
“paranoia…great destroia…” sung in my best rock voice.
@pinkypie – I have to agree with you, but what about the people who haven’t been caught yet?!
Dan – I agree with @nflfan, definitely check out Person of Interest!
