Similar to new LFP columnist Glen (Smile for once) PerasonI was not a fan nor did I vote for him I do however believe he is a decent person and has honourable intentions.
His actions,and that of his party braintrust, appear to be unsound given the economic climate but I dont think anyone got that one right.
I do take issue with his belief that the province needed to “spend/stimulate” their way out of the economic mess. If we had just stayed the course at all levels of government we would be in much better fiscal shape however bending to unions has pretty much handcuffed the province for a generation to placate the elbow patch wearing 416 crowd.
Maybe the next leader can locate hundreds of windmills off of Lakeshore Drive or Queens Quay as it would be a shorter distance to the market.
Say what you want about Harris but he told the truth more than most even though most people hated to hear it.
