Saturday’s graphic-novel column is about a collection penned by Southwestern Ontario’s own Jeff Lemire, who you may know as the creator of the much-lauded Essex County.
He has become an emerging star in the DC stable, both as an artist and a writer. If not War of the Monsters, you should check out his other stuff. I’ll have a review of his latest indie book, The Underwater Welder, in a couple Saturdays.
