Canada really has become an odd place. A blogger who films anti-Israel demonstrations - where Jews are often called the most obscene names – was assaulted this weekend by a leading member of the Canadian Arab Federation and CUPE. He wasn’t hurt but the attacker pushed him and tried to stop him using his camera. Surely this isn’t legal – at least not in countries where Sharia Law doesn’t apply. The bully then told the police that the awful man with the camera was a racist and the cop told the blogger to “keep things peaceful.” Surely this officer should be reminded of the law and that a man who crosses the road to insult and threaten another person is the one not keeping things peaceful.

Next time have a second video camera to catch the action from a third person viewpoint. Expect these radical Muslims to get violent. It is only a matter of time before they start killing people.

And,pro-Hamas/Hezbollah thugs can use babies as shield at Toronto Peace-Marches as some yell death-threats to our Citizens and make inferences of Terrorism acts to canada one day.
Next the Police in July will provide Security at the Pride parade where naked males can expose themselves to children as Miller and Barbara Hall tout this child-abuse as a ‘Familt Event’ getting OUR tax dollars.

Any 1 of the 6.5 billion outside of canada can come here and get all of my Charter Rights and social benefits but have the option to assault me on my soil and be able to flee canada as I’m left behind to recover or have no recourse to Charge them or Sue in a Civil Court.

Assault is a very serious matter.
Years ago in Glasgow, my grandmother attacked my grandfather in the kitchen with a small frying pan.
The police charged her with “assault with a deadly wee pan”.
I guess the concept of paying top dollar to the police force….to get only the very best is flawed logic..to say the least..
The police are simply tax collectors in disguise. They lay in wait like vulchers to catch speeders, seat belt violators, and people not coming to a full stop, etc.

CUPE must be decertified. We can not have a labour union whose leadership has lost their way (arguably racist)controling a workforce that provides our health care facilities with sevices and manpower.
About a year ago on the MC show there was a guest from CSIS who had alluded to the fact that a CUPE high ranking leader visited the mid east on union business. Is the labour thug in the video the same individual? I hope CSIS has continued to grow the file and would soon be ready to turn it over to the RCMP. We know now that Toronto Police Services and the OPP do not have the stones to investigate or even keep the peace.

Plus, the idea that police exist to protect the individual citizens of Canada is 100% wrong. It is a polite fiction which is encouraged by government to keep you fat, happy and paying your taxes. The police are there to keep the PEACE, not protect -you-.
As many people have discovered to their surprise, police will follow the path of least resistance in pursuing this goal, and will arrest -and detain- uninvolved bystanders with videocams sooner than tackle violent, even armed “demonstrators” or “protesters”. They’ve been doing it in Caledonia since 2006, they’re doing it right now in Couchiching on Highway 11 (Toronto cottagers take note), they did it with the Tamils blocking the Gardiner, and now to Blazing Cat Fur for taking video of an anti-Semitic “protest” march.
Welcome to the Ontario, please be aware you can be arrested for standing across the street looking at violent maniacs breaking the law.

I agree with the person who said “assault victim” is a bit of a stretch.What I saw was two people being having an argument. One loud and obnoxious and the other mocking and sarcastic. Unless I am missing something the big deal is that Ali touched Catfur’s camera. Wrong yes but a major crime not really. Catfur stood his ground, which was the right thing, and Ali comes off as an immature and angry. Beyond that I am glad the cops exercised some judgment and didn’t waste the courts time with this case of camera touching.
I too would like a hidden camera at a distance to do a wide shot of everything to use as evidence. The ‘Mystery’ video discovered by CITY TV from the “Tourists” on vacation in Toronto ended up being Relatives filming the event with the audio off and their headlight on to give Lighting as the Police car pulled up. I keep hearing Lorne Honikker on your show excusing away some violence allowed by the Police because a victim incited a response and we don’t know the whole story from just a 1 minute video clip or audio clip.
I agree,and CITY TV was wrong to skew a trial and mislead a Judge that no evidence existed to affirm either story.

They showed up at our place couple of years back, helicopter, plane and a parade of vehicles including many four wheelers to go through heavy bush, claiming there was a grow-op ON our property. There was not! Just moved in and had just done a complete inspection including a survey!
BUT it was on the other property behind us, past a stream…no big deal all they had to do was ask for permission to pass through our place (much shorter) but they bullied us instead. We had no choice but to let them through. Have pictures to prove this taken from inside our home and we received a stern warning about publishing them when they noticed – mostly of the helicopter actually, which we have not done nor want to; not interested in that crap to begin with. We were very polite and accommodating.
They hauled out cube vans full of weed plants…BUT left all their ‘Gatorade Aid’ bottles all over OUR property that I had to pick up and kept finding them even in the following year. Not to mention there literally was a carpet of weed leaves and smaller plants all at the entrance of our bush area left for us to deal with. We burnt it in the outdoor fire pit as out vet advised our dogs could eat it and get sick!
NOW I tour all around with my dogs (off and on our property) and IF I find anything suspicious I destroy it immediately.
Don’t need them – the cops, around us at all.
Not the first time cops have stepped on and denied our rights (victim of crime) suspect it won’t be the last. To me, they are nothing but union thugs with guns and the laws on “their side” only.
Cops seem to be losing respect all over Canada.
I know of a family in the east who’s teenage son was murdered by a native thug. Story goes he was attending a party at a reserve with a couple of white kids when a group of Indians showed up to evict them. Because whites were not welcome.
As they were leaving on their ATV, the victim, was clubed in the back of the head with a 2×4 and killed instantly. Well. The local police didn’t want to touch this with a 10′ pole. The official cause of death was ruled as an ATV accident – case closed. Fortunately one of the native girls at the party later came forward confirming that the surviving white kids were telling the truth.
If this was a case of a group of whites evicting natives from somewhere they had a right to be and then clubed one to death, well the media would be all over it. National coverage for months and disscused on evrery talk show. The only coverage this case got was a snippet in the local paper.
Our Western political elite have betrayed the West. The time must come when these Quislings are called to book, in the normal way.
As for Muslims, and others like them- they do not belong in the West. They have to be made to understand, that for everyone’s safety, including Muslims, it is best for them to live in Muslim countries. Or else, look forward to a civil war that makes Bosnia look like a garden party.

Your’s is just another example of how Canada has been turned into a police state. The police can take your drivers license, seize your car, they can even kill you in full view of the cameras and walk away from any wrong doing. Our freedom is being eroded daily. The sad thing is that people for the most part fully support the actions of the police.
Not all coppers are bad. I’ve got some decent mates from the UK who are either serving here (Calgary) as police officers, or who are in the process of coming over. However, I do agree that our civil liberties are slowly but surely being eroded as the police (particularly the RCMP) continue to over-step their authority. But, its also OUR fault for letting it happen. We rarely complain when abuses against our individual freedoms happen at police hands, and we continue to elect cowardly politicians who refuse to fight for our rights and break their promises.
I would like to have the right to carry a sidearm. As a Private Investigator, I could easily end up being targeted by armed criminals if I am collecting evidence against them for a legal firm. But, as the laws currently has it, there would have to be three attempts on my life before I can even be CONSIDERED for a permit (Authorisation to Carry) to arm myself. Or, as in Alberta, I would have to be able to prove that my life is in “iminent danger.” Even then, I would need to have passed all the appropriate exams, have a licence to own a firearm and have completed all the required training. Yet criminals (most who have no firearms training) walk around packing illegal handguns that are not registered. Even women cannot carry pepper spray to protect themselves.
