Harper and Trudeau at the Calgary Stampede

Cool pic (above) taken at the Calgary Stampede and published on Justin Trudeau’s Flickr feed. Prime Minister Stephen Harper welcomes Xavier Trudeau to Calgary, as dad looks on.

Trudeau — Justin, that is, also met Captain Kirk:

The PM and Mrs. Harper also got to meet William Shatner at the first of several pancake breakfasts to be served over the next several days:

  1. J Mackenzie says:

Justin Boy Trudeau says his party has raised million because of him self–this is good news, now the Liberal Party can pay back the 40 million stolen from the Canadian Tax Payers.

You know, it is quite interesting watching the of Justin and how much criticism he had received, fair or not, from the Conservatives even out here. It shows that there is more fear that he could win, otherwise he would be ignored. In terms of Alberta, there won’t be much change but it is possible he could pick up a few seats. I think Chima(sorry I can’t remember his last name)could win more because of his relation to Nenshi and not his party affiliation. This is true of Matthew Ghent, whom I know personally. The big thing the Liberals could do is fight hard here and give the Conservatives a “run for their money” which is the least we should expect.
