Finally a reason to smile on Wall Street. Art in response to the economic crisis. A day after the violent protests of the second-month anniversary of the Occupy Wall Street movement, I stumbled upon these giants businessmen walking near Zuccotti Park. They made my day. It was all part of a performance art piece called “Intervention: Wall Street” by artist Laura Anderson with the Brooklyn Jumbies. Look ‘em up. They brought a bit of joy to the neighborhood. Tourists were stunned, cops were smiling and traders were unfazed. Did I tell you they made my day? More about it here.
