Labor Day at the US Open

That’s better than the Goodyear balloon for sure. What you see above is US Open’s website address made of clouds. It appeared suddenly above the court. This is what I call cool self promo.

I spent part of my Labor Day in Flushing Meadows park today watching the world’s best tennis players hard at work. Holiday or not, the show most go on during the US Open. I had the chance to watch the game from the fancy Lacoste suite in the Arthur Ashe Stadium. A few veteran players passed by, like Mats Wilander and Murphy Jensen to watch the ball battle between Novak Djokovic and Mardy Fish. Obviously, the New York crowd was rooting for their American fellow. Pretty sure Fish hoped to win to make this Labor Day extra special for his country, but Djokovic totally dominated the game. No surprise here.
