Marvel’s Avengers spot at the Super Bowl was one of the most anticipated movie trailers of the night.
And even though it might have been a bit overshadowed by Hasbro’s ad for game-turned-blockbuster Battleship, The Avengers looks poised to solidify Marvel’s reign when it comes to bringing superheros from page to screen (at least until The Dark Knight Rises comes out).
The extended ad below reveals a bit more action. We see that Downey’s Iron Man gets the best line, “We have a Hulk,” and it looks like all the players – including Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye – will get more than their fair share of screen time.
Speaking of the green guy, Mark Ruffalo’s take on the man with anger management issues gets to show off a little bit more too.
As for the villain, I wasn’t thrilled the idea of Loki from Thor but we do get a glimpse of his “army” (Skrulls anyone?) and some of their weaponry. But…don’t blink or you’ll miss it.
Take a look.
