Barack Obama has nominated as Secretary of the Treasury his former chief of staff Jack Lew, a long-time Democratic staffer who swooped into the private sector as COO of two divisions of Citigroup from 2006-08 and collected a bonus of almost a million dollars while Citibank was being bailed out by taxpayers. But according to the Wall St. Journal, Lew comes across as amazingly clueless about vital public policy issues, his own investments or what he did when he was a Citigroup executive.
If George W. Bush or Ronald Reagan had nominated such a person, there’d be a political and press outcry about overpaid underqualified politically connected appointees. But since Barack Obama is awesome I guess it’s OK.

Alternatively, post a link to the article where you criticized similar behaviours during the Bush era.
Should be easy, I’m sure you’ve got them linked somewhere. Plus, it will drive a nail through everyone else’s credibility when you can come on record and go “Hey, look. I criticized this behaviour before and I’m doing it again, but none of you are.”
“If George W. Bush or Ronald Reagan had nominated such a person, …”
They did nominate such people and people like you complained about it. It’s what keeps you working johnny boy.
