While most normal people are happy to celebrate the Queen’s diamond jubilee (or at the very least graciously put up with the fuss the rest of us are making out of deference to Her Majesty’s admirable achievement), some people insist on making royal pests of themselves.

Maybe if we didn’t spend money on useless and anachronistic celebrations of the monarchy we wouldn’t have to pay as much interest on Canada’s debt.
Every time the monarchy sneezes or farts we end up spending millions on their sojourns to Canada.
Let us get rid of the parasitic monarchy once and for all.
