"It claimed far more victims than Naziism..."

Indeed it did, although, in fairness, communism had a great deal more time to wreck havoc on the world: the Nazis were militarily defeated after only about 12 years in power.

It will forever remain a puzzle, though, as to why one can be a communist or former communist and remain in polite society - indeed, in the main stream.

The victims of this senseless massacre deserve consideration of sensibilities, as do their families, and by extension the American people. As far as the perpetrator, burn and flush. Better than he deserves, and if that offends others sensibilities, not open to debate. The time has long past that society so desperately needs to salve perceived slights, hurt feelings, and the much over-used "sensibilities". Burn and flush to set the tone for any others who commit crimes against humanity. Enough is enough.

@Russell D Turner: that is the problem, we ( I use the royal "we" although I am not including myself as I would rather spoil my ballet than vote for an Liberal) keep electing LYING LIEBORGERALS to various posts (ie MP, MPP, etc.) and expecting them to think about the real needs of Canada! Instead they seem to only worry about what it means to their bank account, or their sense of entitlement.

No one has asked for a payment, so the cost is zero. And no one has donated the material, so there is no campaign contribution. At best, it is purported, but not real. If an owner is established in fact, and a value is assigned by said owner, then that becomes an expense, whether paid or not paid, and hence it is the opposite of a contribution. This is a waste of time. Instead, let's start getting politicians who think about the real needs of Canada.

Elizabeth May went to the States to see to it that the KEYSTONE XPl does not go through. Which means thousands intended jobs for people on both sides of the border was not to exist. yet she is afraid of FIPA now that is a good one.

The NDP wants to put a moratorium on all ports tankers and oilsands yet they are concern what China would do.

Some of the NDP MPS have not repaid their leadership loans and many of the liberals still owe money to EC which some have not repaid since 2004.

If it is ok for the ndp and the liberals to refuse to repay their loans then Charlie Angus, I suggest you either pay up or shut the hell up.

Why the SNN media reporters are not backfiring on Charlie Angus is getting to be rather frustrating which leads me to ignore this station.

Angus should look within his own party before making that statement, he should look to his colleague Pat Martin using his MP position to drum up funds for his libel case. He should also show proof that the NDP repaid 350k illegal union contributions.

Lillian E. Quan Dyke who was appointed by Paul Martin to the senator in 2005 ran as NDP senator but was later rejected by Jack Layton and the NDP, so she became a liberal senator. So much for trying to represent the NDP.
