Boardrooms in NDP ads – then and now

- April 10th, 2012

The NDP released a new ad Tuesday to in a bid to introduce new leader Thomas Mulcair to Canadians. I happened to notice in the last scene, Mulcair’s seen standing in what looks like a boardroom.

It’s an interesting message  – a hint that Mulcair is at ease in a business environment – especially since the Conservatives have already attacked him for what they say would be his “dangerous economic experiments.”

It’s also a very different portrayal of boardrooms from past NDP ads, like the one seen in this  2008  election ad around the 12sec mark.
