So it’s now 30 years since the federal government started trying to replace the Sea King helicopter and… we still haven’t got a single replacement aircraft.
Something to think about next time some fool tells you government is good at fixing things.

Scrap the F-35 deal and spend the money on helicopters and coastal ships and ice breakers. Does anyone think that technology will not overcome the stealth value of the F-35s in the near future. With a country the size of ours, if you put all 65 of those planes in the air at the same time, they could not cover the entire country. I’m a conservative but the logic behind these F-35s escapes me.
