Yesterday we had Megan Leslie defending Mr. Mulcair’s position that considering homosexuality a sin goes against Canadian values. And this morning we have Quebec City dipper Alexandrine Latendresse also standing up for Mr. Mulcair. Here’s what she told me, in French (the translation is mine):
Je trouve que c’est inacceptable que des fonds censés aller à l’aide internationale aillent à des groupes qui ont des propos ouvertement anti-homosexuels.
I find it unacceptable that international aid funds go to groups that are openly anti-homosexual.

I am a taxpayer, and I am appalled that even one dime of my taxes would go to Crossroads Ministry for any programs!! This “religous” organization has spoken out many times on the issue of Homosexuality, has on their website not only called Homosexuality a sin but also an abomination and linked Homosexuality to Pedophilia and Bestiality. This is not only inaccurant its appalling that in 2013 people still want to spread this hatred and BS. Its well documented Crossroads Ministry and your supporters that Pedophils are 98% Heterosexual regardless of the gender of their victims!! And there is no truth that Homosexuals believe in Bestiality at all!!
It is reasonable that the Government, who by the way has already stated it doesn’t agree or support Uganda’s opinions on Homosexuality nor their attempts to pass laws that would lead to any Openly Gay person being sentenced to DEATH! I have no doubt that grassroots members on the ground in Uganda are doing what Crossroads Ministry’s claim they are doing however I wouldn’t for a moment doubt that and Manager is also talking to the Government of Uganda and supporting their beliefs that Open Homosexuals should be sentenced to Death. And they should not be doing so on Canadian Taxpayers money!!
