Because it’s never too early to start a language fight

- October 18th, 2012

The Parti Quebecois says it will soon apply Bill 101 to daycares in the province (story in French). Currently there are no restrictions applying to parents; francophone parents who wish to sign up their kids at an English-speaking daycare, for instance, can do so, because the province’s language charter only applies to school-aged children. This is coming to an end, warns the PQ. Ain’t progress grand?

Update, one day later: Could you just please forget about this?

I understand Ms. Marois is unhappy with Canada’s foreign policy. I would not be surprised to be seeing her on Iranian television telling her tale of woe.
