Who is heading to Chicago next week with Mayor Rob Ford?

A list of delegates is expected to be released Monday but here are some of the people going, according to city officials, as part of the Team Toronto Business Mission:

  • Former Premier Ernie Eves, Natel Strategies International Inc.
  • Janet Ecker, President, Toronto Financial Services Alliance
  • Carol Wilding, President & CEO, Toronto Board of Trade
  • Paul Brown, Chairman, Enwave
  • Betty DeVita, President, Mastercard
  • Thomas Kloet, CEO, TMX Group
  • Graham Henderson, President, Music Canada

    I didn’t vote for Rob Ford. I think he’s an inarticulate doofus. Those are the breaks. Rahm Emmanuel was Barack Obamas chief of white house staff. He has a master of arts degree from Northwestern University and there is probably a good chance that when he speaks he won’t go all red in the face and stammer uncontrollably. There is an extremely good chance that Rob Ford will. Those are the breaks

    Increasing trade is a good idea for Toronto, but is it worth it at this point in time during the elections in the U.S?

    Unless they have a clear agenda with expected results!

    I am sure Rob Ford knows what he is doing since he himself is a very successful business man unlike erstwhile Mayor Miller who relied on taxes to create ‘wealth’!
