- Councillor Giorgio Mammoliti, a member of the Civic Appointments Committee

“This report from the Ombudsman outlines the many ways the mayor’s office interfered in the public appointments process. It was unprecedented, inappropriate and I think compromised the public appointments process.”
- Councillor Janet Davis

  1. Chandra says:

If what is being said by some members of the committee is true then they should be able and ready to call the ombudsman a liar.

Ombudsman Fiona Crean, oh this lady is the one Ms. Levy wrote about that receives over a 100grand
per year and maybe more. This is the one lady who will not be transparent with her accounting for
Mike Del Grand for the City Budget. This is the lady who likes pointing fingers and criticizing everyone else……….well…..let’s be transparent shall we, and open up her accounting since inception she took office. Let’s see how well run her dept. is. Appears she has nothing to hide, or does she? (Toronto Sun,Sunday, September 23, 2012).
It appears one has to really dig for any information from her….time will tell….
