There’s been much talk of late about London Mayor Joe Fontana’s proposed 1% economic development levy. A lot of Londoners, in fact, get pretty upset by the idea.
Well, the mayor is planning another levee. But this one is not only spelled differently — it’s the traditional New Year’s Day get-together.
Fontana will be pressing the flesh with Londoners on Sunday, Jan. 1st at the Arts Project on Dundas Street from 2 to 5 p.m.
There will be snacks. But no taxes.
