Tommy Europe also generously made some time to kick my butt one more time — in a post-bootcamp posedown!

The muscular ex-CFLer, who lives in Vancouver, promises to return to Edmonton next year for Round 3 of his Shred Bootcamp — most likely in the spring. Stay tuned to this blog in the coming months for more details and another chance to win tickets.

Help me help the Stollery this Mother’s Day

- March 27th, 2011

mdlogorw_17_edmonton

For the third consecutive year, my wife, our daughter and yours truly are taking part in the Mother’s Day Run & Walk in Edmonton.

The annual charity event — including a Mom’s Day Run & Walk in Calgary — is Alberta’s largest family fundraiser, according to organizers.

Last year, there were more than 22,000 participants.

stolleryProceeds from the Edmonton Sun-sponsored 2011 Sport Chek Mother’s Day Run & Walk in E-Town are earmarked for the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation — an incredibly important charity here in Alberta.

You can help out the Stollery through my online race pledge page at:

https://eventsonline.ca/cgi-bin/events/forzani_ed/pledge.pl?id=JME2184671

The secured page accepts Visa, MasterCard or Amex. All pledges of $20 or more qualify for a tax receipt that will be mailed prior to Dec. 31, 2011.

Thank you for your support.

And maybe we’ll see you at Foote Field on May 8!
