At least it wasn’t a three-point game.

If you are a Leaf fan, that’s the only “glass-half-full” way you can look at Monday night’s 3-1 Winnipeg Jets victory over the Buffalo Sabres, two teams that are above Toronto in the eastern conference standings.

The victory put the Jets in the eighth and final playoff spot in the east, a logjam that features just seven points between 8th and 13th.
