Grits off to a positive start in new year

For Grits gathering in Ottawa this week, the news is both good and bad.
Bad news first: Conservatives are way smarter than Liberals about internal party machinations.
For example, sane people don’t know who the Tory party prez is, and they don’t care, either. The Conservatives are therefore way better than the Liberals at (a) raising money and, (b) keeping internal party matters out of the paper. That’s any party president’s job: Raise money and keep your mouth shut.
