The movie the Three Stooges is under attack for what one Catholic group calls a mocking of nuns and an especially sexual portrayal of one nun played by bikini model Kate Upton. You can see the offending scene in the trailer below at about the 1 minute mark.
On the one hand I can’t get too upset at this since I do believe in freedom of speech even if it offends me. On the other, would these same movie makers make fun of the Burkini? That’s the Muslim full-coverage swimwear for women that don’t show any skin.
I have a feeling that the producers wouldn’t be so bold but maybe I’m wrong. Check it out yourself and vote in the poll below.

In case you haven’t heard and really if you haven’t you will be hearing about this non-stop, the Charter of Rights and Freedoms turns 30 tomorrow.
Of course tomorrow is also the 30th anniversary of the repatriation of the Constitution of Canada of which the Charter is just one part but never mind that now. We don’t need to talk about the big document, the one the left hates with its separation of powers, not when we can talk endlessly about The Charter.
All last week Jean Chretien was complaining and the consensus media was giving him plenty of ink and airtime as he fretted about how the Harper government isn’t going to mark this day properly.
On Sunday Justin Trudeau appeared on CTV’s question period where he said he was shocked at all of this and detailed said that Canadian society is based on the Charter.
