    Well you can tell which side the Sun is on. Why not have an opinion from the other side?

    It’s too bad pro-choice people are being idiots about it- I’m sure that’s part of the plan of the caravaners- try to get a reaction and make all pro-choice people look bad.

    From my point of view, the pro-life supporters seem like conservative minds of the past, living in a bubble. They must have no idea what people have to go through. What do they think is going to happen if we have no abortion rights? There are so many girls/women who save their own lives by having abortions. If they didn’t have the option, many would go to drastic means to have one anyway, but it would be unsafe.

    I am definitely pro-choice and am happy to have the safe option in Canada. I am happy to be having a baby now and ready at this point in my life for what that brings, but years ago, that was not the case, and I will never regret or feel bad about the choices I have made.

    Get back in your vans and go home…you aren’t changing minds.

    Notwithstanding your desolidarization with the despicable acts of those who are attempting to silence the message of this caravan, Mihelle you still express intolerance of the opposing view. You end up mildly by saying “..go home.. you aren’t changing minds”. In honesty, you could only say “you are not changing my mind” but that would hardly make the case for paking up and going home. The sad truth is that, expressing your view from an implicit “we – the many” perspective, is a form of bullying whether you realize that you are engaging in it, or not. Whether I agree with the massage of the Caravan or not, what I see is a peaceful and civilized expression of opinion in a society that values freedom. Stephanie Gray spoke with great dignity and the civilized Canadian way is to respect her opinion and the right to express it. I would be dismayed to hear that the police did not lay criminal charges against the self-righteous brute with the chocolate milk. I have seen prosecutions caried for assault with a weapon “namely a styrofoam cup”. i also had a client found guilty for spraying a neighbour from a garden hose during an argument. The discriminatory application of the law should concern you Michelle much more than the free expression of ideas that in your mind are outdated. I am proud of Canada because people like Stephanie still believe and live by the core values of this great country. A civil society still exists and is vibrant in this country.

    having an abortion doesn’t make you un-pregnant;
    it makes you the mother of a dead baby.

  5. Alain says:

    Once again the pro-abortion crowd seek to silence the truth about what abortion entails. Of course it is much easier for them to promote their views by dehumanising the baby in the womb, pretending it is just some kind of abnormal growth or tumour to be removed. All people are entitled to know the truth after which they can form their own decision. Another thing that has become typical is how the Left does not hesitate to resort to violence in order to shut down dissenting views.

  6. Alain says:

    I can only say to Michele and her fellow travellers who want to keep abortion at any stage and for any reason that while that may be their right to choose, it is NOT their right to have the rest of us pay for their elective surgery. Do it on your own dime at the very least and respect the right of others to be pro life.

  7. David Piccolo says:

    I am adopted, my birth mother (whom I have never met) was 14 and my birth father was in his 30s. I don’t know the circumstances of their relationship, but I do know she was a prime candidate to have an abortion. My birth mother decided to carry me to term, she decided to take responsibility for her body and to make a sacrifice to give me life. At only 2 weeks old I was adopted and I’ve had a wonderful life, my adoptive parents tried for many years to have children but my mom suffered many miscarriages until they finally decided to adopt. There are so many families that want children, when I think of a woman having an abortion I simply assume that child could have been me.

    I don’t believe that my pro-life stance is an anti-woman stance, that is a false dichotomy and I do not accept it.

    If these pro-choice people had a 16 year old daughter and she was cutting her arms and doing other harmful things to her body due to emotional issues or youthful ignorance, would they let her continue to cut herself because it’s her body and she can do what she wants with it?
