I loved what you did tonight(beck)I watched him everyday when he was on fox. His speech very powerful.thankyou again.

well you are a Glenn Beck Follower using the same false stats he used to on Fox. 47% of people in the states don’t pay taxes is INCORRECT. They pay state taxes where applicable sales taxes property taxes etc. They just don’t pay federal income taxes. (which btw is only 15% less than MITT!)
Also while on the rant you say you want less government less intrusion into your life but yet you want to outlaw assisted suicide etc. So you really just want more freedom’s for the ones you like and less for the ones you disagree with. Atleast Ron Paul is consistant. Thanks

    yes I am Canadian

Brian we enjoyed seeing Glenn Beck on Sun News with you and the program especially pleased to see him here in Canada as we have watched him for some time when he was on Fox Channel and are so impressed as how he has become a great voice with important and informative message’s for everyone. Over time Glen has learned and maintained a great deal of knowledge through travel and visiting the many places giving him first hand information and authority regarding government and social issues that are of much importance making us aware, also his attitude and care about Israel speaks a great deal for his character and integrity.
Please keep up the good news, media and work@ Sun News

It was just a normal interview. It wasn’t anything I haven’t already heard from Glenn Beck before. Anyways, I thought the discussion about having more personal responsibility is good and I like what Beck has said before about having food supplies and preparing for the worst. I wish all politicians and people could do that. We need to prepare for the worst because well I believe the worst is yet to come. As for progressives being communist, I think that is overblown and all parties in Canada are progressive to a certain extent and what was never discussed during the interview is how the Liberals got us back to balance. I wish that was discussed during the interview. Regarding Israel, I believe that we should stand by all nations but standing by a nation because they are a so-called democracy is foolish. We need to be balanced on foreign policy and on all matters and we should try to strive to end war before it has even begun. Canada did its best when it supported a balanced foreign policy. Therefore, I think diplomacy, peacekeeping and averting war at all costs should be the most important thing Canada and the world should strive to do. We should also focus on our domestic agenda and help our economy work for everyone. If we go down the route of just supporting Israel, then we may have to fight all of Israel’s battles. We should focus on true Canadian independence. Also, how would Russia and China react if we helped in attacking Iran and/or Syria. That was never discussed in tonight’s interview and should have been. Beck never talks about it. Beck is a neoconservative plain and simple. He supported Santorum after all. That is all you need to know. I say just believe what is true to yourself. I am an independent and being an independent means to not believe in labels. I think Canadians should instead elect independents, small parties and movements to change all levels of government. That means changing from the usual party labels.

Keep up the great work, all of you at SunMedia. The interview was great, as were the excerpts of his show (even despite the UNION sound system). But then how can you lose when quoting Kipling? In less than a year, your network program has become famous and known far outside of Canada. The speakers from the U.S. and Britain, and further afield, I have never seen elsewhere. But when you put out a good product you attract the best. All the best in moving forward!

I have been a Glen Beck Fan since Fox. Havent seen much of him since he left. As a Canadian I have never been prouder than when
I saw your show with Glen. Peace out.

  7. Shannon says:

Glad to see Glenn on your show tonight. Common sense abounds on Sun News and it is so good to see real discussions about real issues. Keep up the good work.

  8. Lorna says:

Thank you so much for this interview, Brian. Truth has no agenda and what Glenn said last night about Israel and Canada was excellent.

  9. Jason Andrus says:

Please don’t bring Beck’s brand of ‘crazy’ to Canada, the man is self-absorded, narcissistic, misguided, and done more to poison the political discourse in the U.S. (save for Hannity and Limbaugh) than anyone in history. We live in a wonderful country, where church and state is seperated (for the most part), and where critical thinking is encouraged, and ‘blind faith’ is strongly discouraged. Why would we want to listen to this nut spew is extreme right-wing agenda? Mr. Blue Collar ‘every-man’, earning a cool $20 million a year promoting unfettered, unregulated, corporate greed, and all things church. Sun News is really modelling itself after the most efficient propoganda machine on the market, Fox News. Although I have never been one to turn away from good political theatre, we can do without the Beck’s of the world. He is a good reminder of just how different we are from our cousins south of the 49th.

I have watched Glenn Beck since his days with CNN Headline news and later Fox News. I have a lot of respect for both Brian Lilley and Glenn Beck. I even remember Beck on CNN when he talked about recovering from alcohol abuse and he hit and needed to hit rock bottom to start a recovery. Am I being over optimistic to suggest with Obama in power the U.S. is in its “rock bottom” and can start to recover when Obama loses his job?

  11. Constantin says:

Unbelievable achievement to hit the nail in the head within 20 minutes or so! The migration of personal responsibility and civic engagement into collective tax sponsored welfare is not an achievement of modern day “progresivism”, but rather the expression of its abject failure, dehumanizing reality and a death blow to the most vibrant and prosperous civil society ever created. Avoiding war at all costs is what led to the biggest destruction in the history of this world. Letting down your allies for fear of agravating the bad guys also has a history of abject failure and an incomprehensibly high price tag. Those who have ears to hear should listen.
The insistence of so many people to cling to a world of illusion “at all costs” (meaning, for example, “may Israel perish if this will buy us peace – or an extension of our time in fairyland”) is indeed depressing. The interview ended on the pessimistic note of simply ensuring that our children could not accuse us of hiding our heads in the sand.
Note, however, that your audience is growing and I detect even a moderation of the usual viciousness of the comments left by those whose beliefs are challenged by your programming. The task might be monumental, but one brick at the time could do it. Unlike other people who commented here, I do not watch Fox News and simply new that Mr. Beck is a coservative voice despised by the left for his immense broadcasting success. After watching this interview, I can see why he is so successful. To be politically correct and self-righteous to no end is not the receipe for true success (unless you equate such success with a government pension). It takes both great sincerity and dept of thought to get to 20 million dollars a year. I will be delighted Brian if your career would also take off like this. You certainly deserve it and Canada will stand to gain a great deal in the process. Bravo!

  12. Bob Tebbutt says:

Jason Andrus, thank you for confirming what buffoonery exists in the minds (for want of a better expression) of those on the left. 100% empty ravings; 0% content. No solutions are offered; no debate or exchange of ideas just angry, intolerant, over the top invective. Don’t like what the guy says – shut him down (aka censorship) – where was your example of critical thinking? How about starting with a definition of “extreme right-wing agenda”.

  13. Guyle Nunweiler says:

Glen Beck is a nice guy BUT I think it is a mistake to give him a forum to sread his gospel of Good Works. His attempts to unite the (New) Religious Right is dangerous and is perverting true Biblical Christianity. Moralizing will not get you to heaven no matter what Glen Beck says. “Winning back the culture” will take more than uniting the church. It takes personal repentance and accepting Jesus Christ. We are all born rotten and are still rotten, Glen Beck included.

  14. Roch says:

It is refreshing that people like Glenn Beck and Brian Lilley speak, with common sense and truth, for the silent majority. Mainstream liberal media brainwashes many people with vile, destructive and evil morales.

  15. Larry Bennett says:

Jason – You just keep watching those mainstream media outlets, and your skies will always be sunny, and you will always know who to blame, and you can be in agreement with all the social media types and other and various movie stars, rock bands and George Popadopolous (or whomever) and you’ll always be their golden-haired boy! You will always be loved and supported by airheads and twits when they aren’t out demonstrating or basking in the reflections of their own glory. Don’t worry about the rest of us, we will just carry on in our error, shambling on down that road to total failure.

  16. Larry Bennett says:

Guyle, thank you for your lesson on antinomianism, but some of us are beyond the help of reformers, having been led to Hell by some bog-priest and the Whore of Rome. You know, predestination, and all that!
