If you love free speech, support this cause

- July 2nd, 2012

If you support free speech then I ask you to support the cause of the folks over at Freedominion.com

Mark and Connie Fournier have been at the front lines of the fight for freedom of speech on the internet in Canada. They and their readers backed Mark Steyn and Ezra Levant while at the same time fighting their own court battles.

You may never have heard of them or their site. You may not like Freedominion. But if you value free speech then I am asking you to give to them.

They need $14,000. I know you can do this. You don’t need to give a lot but if everyone gives a little then you will be helping stand up for free speech.

It’s a fundamental freedom right now, let’s keep it that way.

The link to the site below takes you to the same website that raised over $600,000 for the school bus monitor abused by students near Rochester, NY. You can give by credit card or by PayPal. And you can give anonymously.

Please give.

If you prefer snail mail then send a cheque or money order to,

No Brian, free speech does not mean freedom to defame, slander or libel.

    Done!

The Left gets all of their money from the hapless taxpayers. Those on the Right upholding freedom of speech have to get it from concerned individuals.

I’m not saying that Free Dominion should get government money. I’m saying that the government should stop funding all special interest groups. The way it is now, the Left has most of the “ammo” in this fight: government funding (and let’s not forget the HRCs) and the support of most of the MSM.

    Something’s rotten here.

Indeed. Which is why the Fourniers should sue Baglow. Even though the courts like to side with leftists the law is suppose to be unbiased.

  4. BL says:

If the Fourniers had done what any responsible chat board owner done and removed the libellous material when asked and apologised they wouldn’t be in this mess. Free speech doesn’t include the right to libel. If it didn’t then free speech champion Ezra Levant wouldn’t have sued for libel when he felt defamed. The next time Ezra sues is Brian Lilley going to urge people to donate to the defendant’s legal fund?

    Losers
