absolutely disgusting…… time to cut the funding

  2. Graham says:

Sorry, is religion exempt from criticism? Why would it be? I agree it’s hypocrisy for the CBC to exempt some religions but not others, but the idea that religion generally is exempt from criticism is preposterous and, moreover, there’s several thousand years of critical theology which says that it ain’t so.

  3. David T says:

It’s satirizing the Canadian culture. Has nothing to do with the Catholic religion. That’s only a context. Your spin on this is transparent and petty.

  4. David T says:

True believers are not afraid to be questioned, challenged or satirized. They are secure in their beliefs.

  6. Steve Kennedy says:

Lighten up Ezra. Have you never heard of satire?

And to assume that just because Sean Majumber is Hindu that he has no understanding of another religion is simplistic at best.

But then, simplistic is what YOU do best, isn’t it?

  7. Jack Mall says:

Ya, cut the funding to all religious fanatics and abuse apologizers.

  8. Proud Christian Canadian says:

The apathetic, silent majority in Canada is responsible for the demise of the foundation that our culture was built on. We call foul if a minority group or non Christian religion is the target of any negative comment, but sit idol when we are attacked and belittled. Shame on you Canada, what has happended to your morals, ethics and values? To add insult to injury, your tax $$ are funding this radical movement.

  9. Jean Freeman says:

Since when is it acceptable to mock any religion like this? I object to funding this garbage

  10. Stephen Smith says:

Actually they poke fun at Catholics, a sect of Christianity.
