Some things are okay to mock, ridicule and open up to hatred and contempt. For CBC, that means the Catholic Church.

Sorry, is religion exempt from criticism? Why would it be? I agree it’s hypocrisy for the CBC to exempt some religions but not others, but the idea that religion generally is exempt from criticism is preposterous and, moreover, there’s several thousand years of critical theology which says that it ain’t so.
It’s satirizing the Canadian culture. Has nothing to do with the Catholic religion. That’s only a context. Your spin on this is transparent and petty.
True believers are not afraid to be questioned, challenged or satirized. They are secure in their beliefs.

The apathetic, silent majority in Canada is responsible for the demise of the foundation that our culture was built on. We call foul if a minority group or non Christian religion is the target of any negative comment, but sit idol when we are attacked and belittled. Shame on you Canada, what has happended to your morals, ethics and values? To add insult to injury, your tax $$ are funding this radical movement.
