I think Mr Khadr is entitled to compensation: A one-way plane ticket to Afghanistan.
So being a self-acknowledged terrorist and admitting, even bragging about, killing a medic who sought to help him, is not wrong? This is enough to choke a horse! Every time I attempt to muster up a better image of lawyers, along comes someone like this, who confirms my impression.
No proof Khadr did anything wrong? Seriously?
There’s more proof he did a lot wrong than there is proof he was tortured.
That self righteous Einstein needs to spend some time in Afghanistan before she starts to criticise what we do here in the west.
Well their you have it; Liberal smugness, arrogance and ignorance on display. Don’t you love it….Steve O
How much should Omar Khadr be compensated? Nothing, of course! Is that even a serious question. Maybe if MS. Davidson is so worried about about compensation, she could cut him a cheque. But how typical. Compensate Khadr, with cash of course, but as for his victim and his family, not a thought from this woman. Sad, really.
I loved the part where she kept insisting that sleep deprivation was torture.
Hmmm, maybe she has a point … ask the parent of any newborn!
The arrogance in this woman is beyond belief. She has her opinion and knows it to be fact (in her warped mind), and does not wish to have it contradicted.
Baby Khadr was almost 16 when he murdered an army medic who wished to dress his wounds and save his life. He admitted to this in his signed confession, and has never expressed anything but pride in the taking of that poor medic’s life. Ms. Davidson still envisions this terrorist an innocent child who must be set free because he was in no way culpable for his deeds. No sense of reality there.
It is an enormous problem in our society to have such gullible numbskulls as Ms. Davidson fighting tooth and nail to release convicted mass murderers, terrorists, child-abductors and rapists so they can have another chance to re-offend. And Khadr will continue his terrorist activities once he lands on our shores. Bank that.
Lilley, you crafty man. Thanks for doing what you do. You give the loons an opportunity to give their say so we can see how wrong minded they are. And they think they’ve been provided a platform! Come to think of it, that explains why leftists rarely allow conservative views on their shows: too many of their listeners would be exposed to logic…
I have 7 years of university and I have to constantly question whether those extra three years have driven me insane. It seems that there is an inverse relationship between the amount of education one has, and their inate common sense.
This lady is obviously overeducated.
Sleep deprivation? I had no sleep the first night, I had one hour the next night and then 4 hours for weeks thereafter. That wasn’t “torture” that was “operational” as a member of the forces trained to fight against these terrorists.
