I’m on the record as not being a big fan of the climate summit in Cancun. It’s a meeting to try an impose a global tax and other methods of “global governance” over which regular people, the voters, have no say. If saving the planet was our goal we wouldn’t need huge lavish summits, we could actually do our own part. But then where would bureaucrats and hypocrites go to party?
Obviously the Harper government ignored my advice to stay home because Canada’s Chief Climate Negotiator is there, Guy Saint-Jacques. You can read Guy’s daily updates on all the meetings he and his team are going to. I wonder if he took in this party?
