Patrick Maloney arrived at The London Free Press in 2003, a bygone era when the runaway most-read story all-time at lfpress.com was about Hulk Hogan
(seriously) and traditional newspapers as they were known for generations were morphing into something much more complex/promising/future-friendly.

It’s still unclear where news is ultimately headed, but Maloney hopes to be there when it finally arrives.

Maloney, who previously blogged about sports at lfpress.com, has been covering London civic politics off and on for years and full-time since early 2010. He considers this blog a natural extension of his city hall coverage, a place where the news that won’t fit the printed page can still get to readers.
