Who doesn’t love a sweet treat during the holidays?
Freida Pinto, in town to attend the 100 Years of Bollywood Cinema Gala, made an appearance at a L’Oreal Paris cocktail party at the Trump International Hotel Monday night to launch their newest offering in hair colour.
The beauty brand ambassador walked the red carpet in a sparkling coral dress by Cue by Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna and Gucci shoes, accenting with Swarovski’s Allegro clutch and a Birks ring.
“I’ve got a mix of everything,” she said with a laugh.
So what’s the key to feeling red carpet-ready?
“Feeling comfy with what I’m wearing - (and) a very, very comfortable pair of shoes,” she said, gesturing to her Guccis.
As far as beauty goes, the actress shared that her favourite go-to item is L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Million Lashes mascara.
The brand had Pinto and up-and-coming actress Cara Gee out to support the launch of Preference Mousse Absolue hair colourant, which hits stores Nov. 12. What sets their new product apart is that the dye can be re-used out of the same bottle, and has about enough for two full colours.
The hues are vibrant and youthful, with shades based on what their researchers found women are requesting most, like a deep bordeaux red, said a company spokesperson. The science behind their formula is impressive – each pigment is encapsulated to keep the colour true. Read more…
