The Gladstone announces a new season of live theatre.

A year ago, the theatre had a FOR SALE sign on its front lawn. Today, thanks to the hard work and vision of two companies – Plosive, and SevenThirty Productions, the Gladstone announced that it was presenting eight shows in the 2012-2013 season; Mary Jones’ Stones in His Pockets, How It Works by Daniel MacIvor, David Mamet’s November, The Miracle on 34th Street: The Radio Show, Dr. Horrible, Billy Bishop Goes To War, Alan Ayckbourn’s Absurd Person Singular and Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew.

Ottawa Explosion Festival 2012

OTTAWA EXPLOSION 2012 returns to the capital bigger and better on JUNE 13th to 17th. This year, more than 60 punk/indie/garage bands from Tor-Ott-eal including The Nymphets, Holy Cobras, The Steve Adamyck Band, Iron Chic, The Monsters, Big Dick, The Creeps and stand-up comedian Bobcat Goldthwait will perform at various clubs and basements downtown.
