Canadian bobsledder Heather Moyse takes bath in garbage bin

- February 16th, 2014

Heather Moyse couldn’t find a bath tub in Sochi’s mountain village. So she used a garbage bin instead.

A member of the Canada 1 women’s bobsled team, it appears the Summerside, P.E.I., native and multi-sport athlete — she competes in rugby, soccer and track — just wanted an Epsom salt bath. With nowhere to turn, she decided to use the biggest receptacle available.

Just goes to show you that Canadians are always thinking on their feet and making do with what’s available. Unlike so many other countries that simply whine and gripe and start with the excuses BEFORE they compete.
